no subject yet, just furniture. i could do borders and margins for weeks and be perfectly happy. probably a warning sign.

the page finally looks like it spent a decade rolled up in a drawer. very pleased about the wrong things today.

new idea. i know the jellyfish isn’t finished. this is not about the jellyfish. it looks like it’s measuring something important. it measures absolutely nothing.

first tentacle. it already feels alive, which is a little unsettling.

the eye-spots kept escaping the bell. herded them back in. it was bugging me every time i looked at it.

think i finally know what it wants to be. built a little anatomy kit, a bell, a margin, arms, tentacles, surface markings, each one a slot i can swap. plug them together and out comes a medusa. jellyfish. that’s the subject. all generative, all svg, no framework, just code.

filled in the other half of the kit. flat washes, gradient washes, a wash that dries darker at its rim, and about twenty paper-and-ink swatches to pull from later. the hand can draw a line, now it can fill a shape. still no idea what it’s drawing

wet and soft tools. a wash that pools at its rim, a dry brush that falls apart into strands as it runs out, stipple that thins with pressure, charcoal with proper tooth. all of it svg pretending very hard

more tools for the imaginary hand. a nib that leans into the downstroke, a graver that swells and tapers, a ruling pen that never shakes, a quill that lands with a blob of ink and runs dry mid line. still no idea what they’ll draw

new series. it doesn’t have a name or a subject yet, just warm-up sheets. teaching svg lines to wobble like a pen, smudge like a pencil, swell like a brush

Getting ready to release Pattern Collapse on @bootloader_art

Went to a Hundertwasser exhibition. Was and inspired and made these. Never to be released but fun generative experiment inspired by it. All the same codebase - svg

generative art is when you draw 87,000 triangles and then spend a week working out that 42,000 would have been fine

Testing in the @editart_xyz sandbox
Finally trying to get “Pattern Collapse” out after year or so of working on it

GM: Built a brand new palate/color scoring, accent detection and adjustment system with indices weightings + more. Got way, way more complicated than I had intended - but I think the result works

WIP :: SVG :: No Framework

I think Im going to release Pattern Collapse on @editart_xyz .
Its what I want in a Generative Art Platform - Just kinda fits me.

This is how I create my art. This piece is created with code and only triangles for the Genuary prompt:
Triangles and nothing else. - Prompt Credit : @heeey_eth

Triangles and nothing else. - Prompt Credit : heeey
As the prompt says this is made only with Triangles. 100% Javascript - No Framework

I am just with the test outputs of this collection, click to see the hidden construction details. Everyone is just so even if i do say so myself!

I just felt like to spending the evening on this. Creating something beautiful with color…. lots of color. Maybe it can somehow to radiate back some back into the world.
you all!

Nostalgia 007

Nostalgia 010
Nostalgia 004
Only took 206 minutes to render

Something????

WIP

Unsure where I am going with this or even if I am going anywhere.

Circles everywhere.

Preparing Nostalgia for release as part of the fxhash 2.0 release after it was all bumped

This latest work now has a name “Catho” after the effect of the Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT) TV’s and Monitors.
Thanks to @p4stoboy and @studiostrauss for your help in trying to help me name this.

With the fxHash 2.0 changes, Nostalgia has been rescheduled to January 15, 2024.

Arting….

Nostalgia has been accepted for the 2.0 launch event . Releasing Dec 11th

Lunch and more outputs
Pretty happy with the light outputs, going to move over to darker ones for a little. I want the contrast to work on those peices to.

Liking the worn edges.
Very much
GM

Well that got pretty very fast.
No framework
Lunch time!
Thinking I need to make it feel old or worn, I want this to invoke what feels like when I see it. Taking back to my first experiments.
(click it and see all the detail) SVG, no framework

This happened - I quite like it.

The first prints are underway. Getting a few tests done to find the right paper for the right piece of work, all archival quality. Today’s renders are the candidates.

Well, I think we can conclude that foundation was a bit of a failed experiment for me.
I think I will stay on fxHash. I also really just that the minters are involved in the process of creating the final piece. Over me prerendering for the drop.
“Tove” Is dropping tomorrow on @foundation . Excited and nervous all at the same time!
GM! Tove Now minting on @foundation 112 individual artworks / 0.020 ETH
More info below.
Tove outputs minting at

Testing my next release “Tove”.
Params are now all in.
GN - “Tove” output

Background color prams added.
Same piece different color order of background construction

Some more refinements -
GM

No framework - all svg,
I think this image sizing is working better.
Last one for a while, few more tweaks and overlay textture
More color

My latest project “Una” is currently minting at .
Have wonderful day!

My project latest project ‘Una’ goes live on in about an hour. I am very happy with how it has turned out!

in and setting up pramas. Getting ready to put this out.

Deterministic rand, base fills and items coming back in.
FYI this was a complete tear down of So I could put in the new layout.
Unsure if you want to see this or not. But this is how my pieces are created. - Let me know either way.
Yay! new layout system is now powering it!

Color refinement and a few more rules. I am liking the “simplicity” of it. Unlike the look it has been a surprisingly complicated to create.

Playing with Nannou, WASAM and @tychedelia latests updates. Thank you for you hard work.
Working on sketch effects. I know it is me but can seem to just get “cleaner” results over using p5js ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Final tweaks to the rules and dimensions for “Meya”. I’m gearing up to integrate the fx.params and set it for launch. Super thrilled – this is the debut on my new engine, sans p5js.
Had a chat with @SteveMakerspace on Discord yesterday! He suggested adding a full border I was a fan of the asymmetry, but added it as a param option After some playing, loving it more - making it the default! If you haven’t, follow him & join us on his Discord!

Colors

Starting to experiment with my new brushes and some filters.

Sampling of my new brush engine.
It has 1936 possible combinations (speed and pressure). If that isn’t enough there is a custom curve creator. - In previous tweets
The combinations then take a brush, which has its own set of rules to render. (The image uses my “simple” brush)

I have enjoyed p5JS to create my art. But it doesn’t work in the way I want moving forward. So I am creating “Carbon”, a lib in Dart tailored to me and my art, I already have canvas control, primitives - with control, colors and api wrappers.
Test build with carbon

Asta is almost prepped for launch.
I and very happy with how it looks and my progression into over my usual heavier frameworks.
Fist mint from my new project Asta on fxHash!

Extending out the color palette.
Thoughts?

Few more minor tweaks. I think I am going to release this as collection.
, p5js

Picturing how this would appear if it were printed and set in a frame. I think it might look pretty good.

This builds on:
Wip, of something
This builds on:
What I adore about this is the joy I get from crafting standalone, simple blocks that can become more complex when layered. That being said, my most recent experiments are actually veering in a completely different direction.
Incorporated extra elements, and I’m really liking the background and foundation it offers. The long format seems to really complement this work. What do you think?
Here are some varied test results. Still very much a work in progress. 1 / 8

I have moved my work over to fxhash. Yrsa mint goes live in 3 hours. Your wallet address controls the color selection, I wanted something that was defined in the piece.

Render tests, two days out. The export ladder runs from 400 pixel thumbnails up to a ten thousand pixel print master, and the wallet seeded palettes are wired in: one of these renders is named after the Tezos address that chose its colours.
