pattern collapse

released on bootloader.art · released as Pattern Collapse →

A grid of striped tiles is laid down in order, then most of it is taken away. A sheet of colour covers the field, and the pattern survives only inside concentric shutters cut from two centres that never quite agree. What reaches you is a fragment of something larger, sliced by its own interference.

Getting ready to release Pattern Collapse on @bootloader_art

generative art is when you draw 87,000 triangles and then spend a week working out that 42,000 would have been fine

Testing in the @editart_xyz sandbox

Finally trying to get “Pattern Collapse” out after year or so of working on it

GM: Built a brand new palate/color scoring, accent detection and adjustment system with indices weightings + more. Got way, way more complicated than I had intended - but I think the result works

WIP :: SVG :: No Framework

I think Im going to release Pattern Collapse on @editart_xyz .

Its what I want in a Generative Art Platform - Just kinda fits me.
