the lines stay dead straight, only the ink wavers. uniform wobble reads mechanical, a bell curve reads like a person. drawn with a ruler, signed with a pulse.
gg_020

A series of technical diagrams that forgot what they explain: terraced bars, compass wheels, rulers and runes, ink and loose watercolor on aged paper. All generative, all SVG.
annotation is learning table manners. real ruler grammar, in service of measuring nothing at all.
everything leans the same way now, like it was all drawn in one sitting. left the construction lines in. rubbing them out felt like admitting the drawing is finished.
the one-off i kept coming back to until it stopped being a one-off. went to make tea and came back and it was somehow evening.
i meant it as one element among many. it walked into the middle of the page and took over. took it apart twice, the second try was calmer.
each one reads like a different draughtsman borrowed my kit. one of them is neater than me. stings a little.

same rules, completely different drawings. i lost half an hour just rerolling it.
hand-built, no libraries. #art
everything so far, laid out like specimens. it’s already judging me.
#genartclub
nothing drawn but the plan of the drawing. honestly i might like this stage more than the finished thing.
all svg, no drawing libraries. #generativeart
if you can read the little glyphs, don’t tell me what they say.
no subject yet, just furniture. i could do borders and margins for weeks and be perfectly happy. probably a warning sign.

the page finally looks like it spent a decade rolled up in a drawer. very pleased about the wrong things today.
new idea. i know the jellyfish isn’t finished. this is not about the jellyfish. it looks like it’s measuring something important. it measures absolutely nothing.
