Asta takes its name from the Old Norse Astridr, ‘as’ the divine and ‘fridr’ the beautiful. Standalone, simple blocks layer into something more complex, and the long format carries it. Built in p5.js for fxhash.

What I adore about this is the joy I get from crafting standalone, simple blocks that can become more complex when layered. That being said, my most recent experiments are actually veering in a completely different direction.
Incorporated extra elements, and I’m really liking the background and foundation it offers. The long format seems to really complement this work. What do you think?
